 It is well-known that it is difficult to clean the teeth properly with fixed appliances because of the irregular surfaces of the brackets, bands and wires. Careful cleaning is essential to minimising the risk of demineralisation. TePe offers a variety of special cleaning devices adapted to the specific needs of patients with orthodontic appliances.

The Orthodontic Brush has a slim two-row filament brush head, designed to facilitate efficient cleaning close to brackets and under orthodontic wires.

The Interspace, an angled brush with a pointed tuft, is ideal for cleaning critical areas close to the brackets and under the wires. Two different angles can be chosen for optimal access. 

The Interdental Brush is available in several sizes and in two textures, soft and extra soft. The extra soft brushes have longer filaments, which can be suitable for orthodontic patients.

Daily cleaning with a regular toothbrush is, however, the base for good oral health.

Select and Nova are available in medium, soft and extra soft. Nova has a tip which improves access around the back teeth.

The two-level filament toothbrush Supreme can be a suitable choice for patients with orthodontic appliances. The longer, tapered filaments facilitate access under the wires and between the teeth.
